This is the bicycle garage next to the Amsterdam Centraal station. Over 50% of Amsterdammers ride their bikes daily, and 40% commute to work. Parking spaces for cars are rare, and the city is even running out of spaces to park bikes. There are proposals to add more areas for parking bikes in vaults under the canals.
