In the late twentieth century, the influence of the French deconstructionist movement was felt in the art car world. In this new era, a work of art could only be truly understood by going beneath its surface, to examine the underlying structure and assumptions. This car has dispensed with its surface entirely.  Echoing the architecture of the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, the inner workings are displayed for all to see. Perhaps this movement also inspires the nude bicyclists that invade the Solstice Parade every year.
