After leaving Cordes, we drove to Lyon. We took a southern route so that we could drive across the Millau Viaduct, the beautiful bridge over the Tarn river valley. This is the highest suspension bridge in the world, and is widely considered to be one of the most impressive engineering projects ever attempted.
