Fremont is a friendly neighborhood in Seattle, located near the intersection of sane and crazy. The Fremont Fair commemorates the summer solstice with a street fair, parades, concerts, crafts and art car exhibits. Our good friend Bruce lives in Fremont, and invited us to come watch the Solstice Parade with him.
WARNING: In recent years, the parade has been invaded by hundreds of unofficial participants riding on bicycles, most of whom are dressed only in body paint and/or other minimalist decorations. In the interests of good taste, I have edited the photos to blur out any details that would be inappropriate in a PG-13 movie.
